What data we collect and why
When you make a purchase we collect your name, email address, and payment information. Payment is processed securely by Wix Payments — we do not store your card details.
When you subscribe to Flourish News we collect your first name, email address, and the role you selected (parent, practitioner, educator etc). We use this to send you our newsletter and free resources. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send you.
When you contact us via our contact form we collect your name and email address in order to respond to your enquiry.
When you visit our website, Wix automatically collects standard technical data including your IP address and browser type for security and performance purposes.
We do not sell your data to third parties. Ever.
Legal basis for processing
We process your data on the basis of contract (to fulfil your order), consent (for newsletter subscriptions), and legitimate interest (to respond to enquiries and maintain website security).
How long we keep your data
Purchase records are kept for seven years in line with HMRC requirements. Newsletter subscriber data is kept until you unsubscribe. Enquiry data is deleted after twelve months if no further contact is made.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You also have the right to withdraw consent for marketing emails at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@childrenspsychology.co.uk.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Third party services
Our website is built on Wix. Payments are processed by Wix Payments. Email marketing is managed through Wix's email tools. Each of these services has its own privacy policy which governs how they process data on our behalf.
